External MBR technology

Basic Principles

In an external membrane bioreactor, the bioreactor is relatively independent of the membrane unit, and the treated water is discharged through the membrane module through a mixed liquid circulation pump; The mutual interference between the bioreactor and the membrane separation device is relatively small. Ultrafiltration membranes are generally selected as cross flow tubular ultrafiltration membranes, which create turbulent flow in the tubular membrane and prevent sludge from depositing on the membrane surface.
